Asus TUF Gaming F15 FX507 Disassembly
There are a lot of heat dissipation grilles on the bottom cover of Asus TUF Gaming F15 FX507. There are 12 screws to fix the bottom cover to the body. We remove these 12 screws and then slowly remove the bottom cover using plastic warping tabs.
After removing the bottom cover, we can see the internal structure of this laptop. The upper part is the cooling system, the middle part is the M.2 SSD and memory, and the lower part is the battery.
The cooling system of Asus TUF Gaming F15 FX507 consists of left and right fans and five copper pipes. In addition to covering the CPU and GPU, the heat sink also covers most of the power supply lines. It comes with a 15.4V, 90WHrs, 4S1P, 4-cell Li-ion battery.
This laptop comes with two Samsung DDR5 4800MHz 8GB memory, the total capacity is 16GB, the timing is 40-40-40-76, and the voltage is 1.1V. It supports up to 32GB DDR5 4800MHz memory, so if necessary, you can replace the existing memory with two 16GB DDR5 4800MHz memory.
This laptop comes with a Micron 3400 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD, which uses the original Micron DMO2A1 controller and the original Micron 176-layer 3D TLC NAND.
