Honor X40 specifications revealed: Snapdragon 695, 120Hz OLED screen, 50MP camera, and 40W charging

After the official announcement of the Honor X40 launch, many leaks and rumors about the X-series successor are coming every day. Yesterday, a well-known blogger exposed the battery and charging specifications. Today, another major highlight has been revealed by another blogger.

This afternoon, the famous blogger @DigitalChatStation (on Weibo) revealed the complete specifications of the Honor X40 standard version. All the specifications of the device are discussed below:

Honor X40 Specs

Starting from the display, the new Honor X40 comes with a 6.67 inches OLED Single Punch-Hole display that supports higher Full-HD+ (2400*1080p) resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, high-frequency PWM eye protection dimming, and 10Bit color depth. The device has the following dimensions: 161.6*73.9*7.9mm and weights around 172g which hints that the device’s handling experience will be excellent.

In terms of camera, the phone will feature a Dual (50MP+2MP) Rear Camera setup in a black colored circle ring on the backside. On the front side, there is a single 8MP lens. Inside the phone is a 5100mAh battery, which can be charged at 40W super fast.

Regarding the chipset, the Honor X40 is powered by the Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, based on 6nm manufacturing, and features two P-cores (2.2GHz) and six E-cores (1.7GHz). In addition, the new X-series model also comes with the latest Magic UI 6.1 for a better user experience.

The all-new Honor X40 will be launched on September 15 at Honor’s Autumn Product Launch Conference. The company is also expected to launch other devices, including the new Honor Tablet X8 and MagicBook V 14.
