iPhone 14 Pro series Listed on AnTuTu Benchmark: 18% Higher Performance

A few days before, the all-new iPhone 14 Pro was listed on Geekbench, revealing that the successor devices from Apple’s iPhone lineup have upgraded performance in both single and multi-tasking. However, another famous benchmark application has shown its scores.

This afternoon, the famous benchmark application named AnTuTu Benchmark has also revealed the benchmark scores of both iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. A significant difference between previous and this model has been observed in the benchmarks.

Before looking at benchmark scores, it is worth mentioning that both of these models have the same iOS version and storage, i.e., 6GB+1TB, the high-end version of the entire lineup.

Starting from the iPhone 14 Pro, it has scored 978,147 points, including the CPU Score (Apple A16) of 246,572, GPU Score (Apple A16 GPU) of 408,723, Memory score (NVMe) of 176,151, and UX score of 146,701.

Then we have the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which has a slightly low score of 972,936; this total includes a 241,999 CPU Score, 403,717 GPU Score, 180,737 MEM Score, and 146,483 UX Score.

As the AnTuTu officials revealed, the overall performance score increased by 18.8%. Regarding sub-factors (like CPU and GPU), the CPU Performance increased by 17%, while the GPU Performance increased by 28%. The percentage increase denotes that the new Apple A16 has significantly improved performance.

Apple A16 and A15 CPU Comparison

In the overall ranking, Apple’s other devices like iPad Pro and Air series still have higher scores as they are powered by the M2 CPU, which lies in the notebook category. However, in terms of mobile performance, the Apple A16 is the best you can get right now.

Compared with other chipsets like Snapdragon 8+ Gen1, the Apple A16 scores are pretty lower. However, as both chipsets are used for different operating systems, the AnTuTu has divided them into segments, so making a score comparison between competitors is unfair.
