iQOO Neo 7 Specifications Revealed; also Bags 3C Certification

In May 2022, iQOO revealed its iQOO Neo 6, which is powered by a Snapdragon 870 chipset. The smartphone lies in the sub-flagship smartphone category due to its chipset. However, the successor model of this lineup might be upgraded to flagship-level specifications.

This morning, a new model Vivo V2231A got listed on 3C Certification, and as per previous info, the model number belongs to the upcoming iQOO Neo 7.

The 3C Certification revealed that the smartphone would support a maximum of 120W charging (20V/6A) and uses the same charger used in the standard iQOO 7 series. The charger supports charging at the following modes: 10W (5V/2A), 18W (9V/2A), 66W (11V/6A), and maximum 120W (20V/6A).

At the same time, the famous blogger @DigitalChatStation also revealed the expected specifications of this device. As per the blogger, the new iQOO Neo 7 will feature a 1080p display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and PWM dimming to maintain eye protection.

Inside the phone, the latest Dimensity 9000+ chipset will be used, the best you can get from MediaTek. In terms of specifications, the chipset is based on a 4nm TSMC manufacturing process and consists of the following cores: 1x Cortex-X2 Ultra core, 3x Cortex-A710 Performance cores, and 4x Cortex-A510 Energy-efficient cores.

The smartphone also got some significant highlights, like featuring the 50MP Sony IMX766 lens as the main one, supporting 120W fast charging, and a larger capacity battery. In the end, the blogger also mentioned that this would be a mid-range model with a reasonably balanced and powerful configuration.

The new iQOO Neo 7 is expected to be released in the upcoming month.
