iQOO Neo7 Officially Coming on October 20
After a lot of leaks and rumors, iQOO has finally made it official that the company is going to launch the successor of its Neo series, which would be named “iQOO Neo7.”
As per the latest announcement from iQOO (on Weibo), the new iQOO Neo7 will be launched on October 20 at 7 PM (Chinese Timing). The company has made this announcement by posting a teaser video through which the appearance of the device can also be observed.
The appearance of the device was already known due to previously leaked images. At first sight, the iQOO Neo7 feels similar to its predecessor model, “iQOO Neo6.” However, after observing carefully, the differences between both can be distinguished.
On the front side, we have a flat single punch-hole display that supports Full-HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and an eye-protection feature. While on the backside, we have a rectangle-shaped camera module in which the first two camera lenses are placed in a circle while the third one is under the circle.
As per sources, the new iQOO Neo7 will be powered by Dimensity 9000+ chipset. In terms of specifications, the chipset is based on the 4nm TSMC manufacturing process and consists of the following cores: 1x Cortex-X2 Super-Core (3.2GHz), 3x Cortex-A710 Performance Cores (2.85GHz) and 4x Cortex-A510 Energy-Efficient Cores (1.8GHz).
The rumors also state that the new iQOO Neo7 will feature a 5000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. The primary rear camera sensor would be Sony IMX766V 50MP sensor. The display is also integrated with an under-display optical fingerprint scanner.
It is expected that iQOO will release significant highlights of its iQOO Neo7 in the coming days until the official launch event.
