Xiaomi Civi 2 is Expected to Release Soon

In April 2022, Xiaomi released its Xiaomi Civi 1s, powered by the Snapdragon 778G+. The chipset was one of the best you could get in the premium mid-range segment then. However, the manufacturer seems to be looking forward to releasing a successor model with upgraded specifications.

This evening, the Product Manager of the Xiaomi Civi lineup @Hu Xinxin (on Weibo) has hinted toward the Xiaomi Civi 2 launch. In the official post, the Product Manager said, “Coming Soon.” While the smartphone, which got used for posting it (on Weibo), is Xiaomi’s unannounced Xiaomi Civi 2, as mentioned at the top (in the image).

As observed, it seems that the Product Manager is most probably talking about the all-new Civi 2, which will go official in the upcoming days.

As per previous information, it was revealed that the new Xiaomi Civi 2 will carry a codename “Ziyi” and will run the MIUI 13’s latest version (based on Android 12 OS). It is also expected that the new Civi 2 will maintain the aesthetics of Xiaomi’s Civi lineup by featuring a better and premium design with a thin and lightweight body.

In terms of specifications, the device is expected to feature a locally manufactured OLED Single Punch-Hole Flexible Display, which supports a higher Full-HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and dimming feature for eye protection.

As per leaks, the new Civi 2 would be powered by the latest Snapdragon 7 Gen1 chipset based on the latest 4nm manufacturing process and features a total of eight cores, including four Cortex-A710 cores and four Cortex-A510 cores. It also features the latest Adreno 662 GPU.

We expect the new Xiaomi Civi 2 to be officially announced in the upcoming days.
